Linux System Administrator (Infrastructure)

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers;
• Troubleshoot and resolve Linux system problems;
• Automate tasks using scripting languages, such as Bash or Python;
• Deploy infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code;
• Work with Docker Containers;
• Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery procedures;
• Manage users and permissions;
• Monitor Linux systems for performance and health;
• Stay up-to-date on the latest Linux technologies.

Expectations:

• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems;
• Proficient in Linux command-line interface (CLI) and shell scripting;
• Experience with virtualization technologies;
• Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and services, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VPN;
• Knowledge of storage technologies, such as SAN and NAS;
• Understanding of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures on Linux systems;
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues;
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams;
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
