What will you do while(you are at work)? {

• Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of all company databases (Databases used in the NSoft company are MySQL/MariaDB and MongoDB).
• Ownership of DBA tasks for MySQL/MariaDB and MongoDB.
• Manage database users and permissions.
• Manage backup and recovery for production databases and ensure that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly.
• Carry out capacity planning.
• Monitor database servers and resolve performance issues.
• Responsible for implementing database architectural changes to make database infrastructure highly scalable and optimized.
• Perform database server updates.
• Develop automated DBA tasks.
• Critical Out of Hours Support - Being on-call and working out of hours for both planned changes and emergency support.

What do we expect from you:

• Experience with MariaDB/MySQL (replication via Galera plugin).
• Experience with MongoDB (ReplicaSet environment).
• Experience with database proxies like HAProxy, Maxscale or ProxySQL.
• Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python).
• Experience in deploying containerized services using docker-compose).
• Excellent knowledge of Linux OS (CentOS), Linux sysadmin background is a plus.
• Interest in working in a very cross-functional team that touches many of the core systems and user flows.
