Your daily job will look like this:

• Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of all company databases (Databases used in the NSoft company are MySQL/MariaDB and MongoDB),
• Ownership of DBA tasks for MySQL/MariaDB and MongoDB,
• Manage database users and permissions,
• Manage backup and recovery for production databases and ensure that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly,
• Carry out capacity planning,
• Monitor database servers and resolve performance issues,
• Responsible for implementing database architectural changes to make database infrastructure highly scalable and optimized.
• Perform database server updates,
• Develop automated DBA tasks,
• Critical Out of Hours Support - Being on-call and working out of hours for both planned changes and emergency support.

We will benefit from your hiring because you have some of these :

• Experience with MariaDB/MySQL (replication via Galera plugin),
• Experience with MongoDB (ReplicaSet environment),
• Experience with database proxies like HAProxy, Maxscale or ProxySQL,
• Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python),
• Experience in deploying containerized services using docker-compose),
• Excellent knowledge of Linux OS (CentOS), Linux sysadmin background is a plus,
• Interest in working in a very cross-functional team that touches many of the core systems and user flows.
