Junior QA Engineer

Your daily job will look like this:
- Care about the quality of the finished products. Let's make this clear. We know that there will always be some bugs, but preventing them on time is what you focus on.
- Report bugs and errors. On a daily basis you will be exposed to bugs that, in parallel universe, can be feature requests, so one step at the time.
- Give suggestions to improve and optimize products. Yes, we agree that “give suggestions” sounds like a cliche, but in the QA team, it is the golden rule of teamwork.
- Representing QA team on cross-functional project teams. No worries, you will be part of just one team, but collaboration with others is something we just regularly do.
- Develop and maintain test plans and detailed test scripts. If you had to google what the test script is, it’s fine. We will get through it together.
- Use various operating systems. Linux is THE OS in NSoft.
- Execute manual or automated test cases and analyze results. Automated tests are what we strive to do. Manual testing is what we expect, so apply.
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects. We sometimes have no time to document everything, but it’s getting better. That is for sure.
We will benefit from your hiring because you are:
- An individual who demolishes boundaries. We copy-paste this from the world wide web. You must be open to making mistakes and learn from them.
- A team player who respects the opinions of others but presents her/his own ideas. Active listening and assertive communication are the key.
- A responsible person who respects time limits. There are no limits when it comes to your career growth.
- Great communication and organizational skills. It’s OK to be late. Sometimes. :)
- Excellent knowledge of English in speech and writing. Enuogh to find the mistake in this sentence.
- Passion for testing and a knack for identifying a test that breaks a code. Just don’t break the code that works.
- A keen eye for details. If you remember what your ex-crush has worn on your first date, then your eye is keen to detail par excellence.
